Attorney John Nwosu received his Bachelor’s Degree from Salem State College in Computer Science with minors in Mathematics & Biology, where he graduated summa cum laude. He received his Law Degree from Northeastern University School of Law, Boston Massachusetts. Prior to attending law school, John worked as an application programmer and was also a licensed Real Estate Appraiser Assistant both in the States of Massachusetts and New York.
John is very passionate about seeking justice for all and John believes that Justice should be affordable to everyone; this led to the founding of his own law office where he can practice law without let or hindrance. John has represented over 1000 clients in Criminal, Family, Immigration, Civil, Personal Injury and Real Estate matters. John’s third trial experience was a 2nd chair in a murder trial. John has represented numerous clients that were injured in auto accident collisions or from slip and fall accidents. John has also represented clients in family disputes ranging from highly contested divorce matters, child support and child custody disputes to simple divorce. Additionally, John has represented numerous clients facing criminal charges including but not limited to drug charges, assault charges, theft charges, credit card abuse charges, probation violations, traffic violations, including lifting of their traffic warrants and representing clients with huge NTTA tollway fines. John makes himself available to his clients twenty hours a day and prides himself in responding to clients’ inquiries within two hours.
Prior to setting up his law practice, John worked with Dallas County District Attorney’s Office and Dallas County Public Defenders Office as an intern where he assisted Assistant District Attorneys and Public Defenders with every aspect of their cases. In addition to John’s criminal practice legal internships, his vast legal experience include legal internships at Arizona Supreme Court, a renowned criminal defense and civil rights law firm in Charlotte North Carolina, a large international corporate law firm in Los Angeles California and a foreign government financial crimes agency.
Additionally, while in law school, John participated in two clinical programs- the Prisoners’ Rights clinic where John advocated for incarcerated individuals and assisted them with parole hearing preparations and their subsequent transition back into the community, and the Criminal Advocacy clinic where John worked in three person team that represented individuals who have been accused of committing crimes. John’s article on Evidence was published by the American Bar Association International Law Section in October of 2009.
John currently volunteers with the Legal Aid of Northwest Texas where he provides legal counsel for free to individuals who could not afford private legal counsel.
